In Water, On Paper is a collection of 50 watercolor works on paper which is on view in the main gallery July 31 - August 29, 2026. The exhibition is presented in honor of The Arts Center of Greenwood’s 20th Anniversary in the historic Federal Building and in celebration of a special birthday for founding director, Anne Craig. Since her retirement, Craig has devoted herself to the study of watercolor painting under the mentorship of esteemed watercolorist, Bill Updegraff. This special exhibition features a selection of her works alongside paintings by Bill Updegraff, fellow classmates, and local artist friends. Highlighting flora, figures, and scenes from nature, the exhibition celebrates not only the beauty of watercolor as a medium, but also the friendships and creative legacy that continue to enrich Greenwood’s art community.
