What is upcoming in the main gallery? 

​An annual exhibition of local artwork will be on view at The Arts Center of Greenwood from November 13 2026 - January 16, 2027. The art exhibition highlights artists, 18 years and older, within Greenwood County.

November 6 | art delivery (10 am - 5 pm)
November 16 | acceptance notification (via email)
November 19 | open reception (5 - 7 pm, awards @ 6:30 pm)
November 18 - 19 | awards voting (10 am - 5 pm + during reception until 6:00 pm) 
November 13, 2026 - January 16, 2027 | exhibition duration
November 20 | art retrieval - not accepted artwork (10 am - 5 pm)
January 22 | art retrieval - accepted artwork (10 am - 5 pm)

People's Choice Awards:
Top Prize (1) | $250
Merit Prize (3) | $50 (each)

A voting box will be on site November 18 - 19 as well as the evening of the reception up until 6:00 pm. 

Entry Eligibility:

• Any artist (18+) living or working in Greenwood County is eligible to enter or current members of Greenwood Area Studio Potters, Greenwood Artist Guild, Greenwood Woodworkers Guild and The Delores Von Rosen Basketry Guild.
• A non-refundable entry fee of $20 is required for all artists who are non-guild entrants.
• A non-refundable entry fee of $10 is required for all entrants who are active guild members.
• Both 2D and 3D artwork is eligible.
• Each artist may submit up to two entries.
• Entries will be selected by Arts Center of Greenwood staff.
• Artists will be notified of accepted artwork via email by November 16. 
• All artwork must be original and not previously shown at The Arts Center of Greenwood.
• All artwork will be insured by The Arts Center of greenwood while housed in our facility. 
• Presentation Specifications: Any wall-hanging artwork must be securely wired/prepped for hanging. No clip or saw tooth mounting will be accepted.
• Framing Specifications: light wood, white or black are acceptable options. No gold framing will be accepted. All art entries must be easily transportable and not exceed 85" on one side. We reserve the right to reject any entry that does not meet the eligibility requirements or deemed inappropriate for exhibition.
• The Arts Center of Greenwood reserves the right to reproduce images of submitted artwork for educational and promotional purposes.
• The Arts Center of Greenwood will retain a 30% commission on all artworks sold during the exhibition. Please price work in accordance.
