Are you seeking creative activities during school intersessions?
The Arts Center of Greenwood offers a variety of workshops to capture the imagination and interest of any young artist. Having your child participate in one or multiple of our workshop offerings is a great way to foster creative thinking, problem-solving, and fun. Our intersession workshops follow the Greenwood School District 50 calendar and are typically held in the Autumn and Spring seasons. Intersession Workshops for the 2024 calendar year are listed below!
Spring Intersession / Clay CreationsIn this one-day workshop, participants will spend the day learning basic ceramic hand-building techniques. From start to finish they will take a blank piece of clay and see it through the building and glazing stages until they have their very own, complete clay masterpiece!
Date: Tuesday, April 2 Time: 9 am - 2 pm (drop off begins @ 8:45 am, bring lunch and water bottle) Ages: 6 - 12 Admission: $60 (pre-registration required) |
Spring Intersession / Painting PartyIn this one-day workshop, participants will spend the day experimenting with both traditional and non-traditional painting techniques. From start to finish they will take a blank canvas and create their own compositions, color schemes and unique marks until they have their very own masterpiece!

Fall Intersession / LEGOIn this one-day workshop, participants will spend the day working on creative building challenges as well as programming challenges and LEGO themed art activities. It will be the most fun day for all LEGO lovers!
