The Arts Center of Greenwood is delighted to present an inaugural Battle of the Brushes fundraising event on Saturday, February 3, 2024 @ 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Guests will enjoy elegantly decorated tables, music, live painting and sophisticated savories and sweets for a complete LIVE ART AUCTION experience.

What is Battle of the Brushes? 
Battle of the Brushes is an exciting new fundraising event which will pair a local Community Leader with a local Artist to produce a painting that will be unveiled at a gala event to be live auctioned and sold to the highest bidder with the proceeds benefiting The Arts Center of Greenwood.

How do participants win Battle of the Brushes?
The Arts Center of Greenwood will announce and promote the Artist Teams prior to the event to receive votes on their favorite team. The Artist Teams will also use their own sphere of influence to solicit the public to pre-vote for them online prior to the event. Online voting will take place via our website on this page and the public can begin voting for $1.00 per vote one month prior to the fundraising event (details forthcoming, check back here to stay up-to-date).
The winning team will be the team that brings in the most money through both the online voting combined with the sale price of their painting during the February event. There will also be a "People's Choice Award" with voting the night of the event by attendees of the gala.
