The South Carolina Festival of Flowers Juried Art Show is a sanctioned exhibition hosted annually by The Arts Center of Greenwood in concurrence with the award-winning festival. The exhibition was on view in the main gallery June 9 - August 11, 2022. The exhibition represented contemporary art throughout the state and southeast.
The exhibition represented 71 works by 51 regional artists including Aldo Muzzarelli, Alexis Howard, Alyssa Reiser Prince, Amanda Foshag, Andrew Cho, Ashley Dever, Asma Nazim Starnes, Ava Baker, Brianna Clayton, Carey Morton, Caroline Myers, Charles Clary, Chloe Compton, David Urbanic, Doug McAbee, Dylan Bannister, Elaine Quave, Elizabeth Haen, Elizabeth Snipes-Rochester, Emily Clanton, Emily Mathis, Glenn Miller, Haley Floyd, Hannah Poe, Janet Swigler, Jean Capalbo, Jena Thomas, Jeromy Ross, Jessica Swank, Jessie Shinn, Jon Wald, Jonathan Bolton, Jordyn Abtahi, Karen Johnson, Katherine Staggs, Katherine Van Drie, KC Christmas, Kim Truesdale, Lee Sipe, Lori Johnson, Lucy Cassidy, Lydia Baca, MacKenzie Kirkland, Michael Woodle, Miranda Sawyer, Nadia Stieglitz, Renwick Shealy, Sacha Anderson, Sandy Shore, Tien Hai Mai, and Zane Logan.
April Dauscha served as juror for the exhibition. She is a contemporary textile artist who resides in Greenville, South Carolina. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she received her BFA in fashion design at the International Academy of Design and Technology and her MFA in fiber from Virginia Commonwealth University. April is on the board of directors for the Surface Design Association (SDA) and is a founding member of Tiger Strikes Asteroid Greenville (TSA GVL). She spearheaded the fiber arts program at the Fine Arts Center of Greenville and still serves as a full-time instructor.
